September 10, 2010 Dear Leadership Big Canoe ( LBC ) class member: On behalf of the Board of Directors, I welcome you to the sixth year of Leadership Big Canoe. Over the last five years, 114 Big Canoe residents have completed the course and are serving in leadership positions within and outside the gates of Big Canoe. We hope you will join them in active roles in areas that match your skills and personal needs to, “give back to others.” Our course is organized in seven class sessions which will be followed by a graduation luncheon in April. We will meet on one Friday morning in the months of Sept., Oct., Nov., Jan., Feb., March, and April in the Dogwood Room at The Clubhouse. We encourage you to stay for lunch at The Clubhouse and get to know your fellow classmates and Board of Directors. We ask all class members to be on time and attend all sessions. Please refer to the schedule below. Thank you for agreeing to be an active participant in LBC 2010–11. We are confident that you will learn much about our community, make new friends, and decide what part you can play in the betterment of our unique mountain community. Class Schedule
